Urge Congress to Pass the Public Lands Service Corps Act
Our national parks belong to all of us: to visit, to enjoy, and to care for. What better way to restore, preserve, and protect our priceless natural, cultural, and historical treasures than through the efforts of thousands of people providing crucial service hours in our parks?
But if Congress does not pass this important bill, our national parks won't benefit from much needed service designed to reduce the maintenance backlog, and thousands of people--including young people who hear the call of service--won't have the opportunity to serve our public lands. It's up to Congress to take action, and it's up to you to make sure they do!
Please write to Congress in the space below and share your story. How has public service, whether your own or someone else's, touched your life? What experiences in our parks have shaped your appreciation for our public lands? Your letter doesn’t have to be long, but the more personal your story, the more persuasive it will be to Congress.
Be sure to add your public service experience in the letter below. Thank you for taking action today.
