This map shows ten areas where our Park Service urgently needs to acquire privately owned land that is within or next to some of our most treasured parks. It is critical that these lands become public, so as to receive the protection of our Park Service, and to fend off private and commercial development. Otherwise homes, roads, even stores, restaurants and bowling alleys could be built right alongside our national treasures.
If you agree that funding critical land purchases in our parks needs to be a priority, then please sign this petition and let Congress know just how strongly you feel!
