National Parks Action Fund 2022 Scorecard

National Parks Action Fund analyzed the records of members of the 117th Congress on key votes concerning park funding, infrastructure, climate change, cabinet nominations, and protections for water and wildlife. The result is our 2022 Congressional Scorecard.

From votes on new park designations like Amache National Historic Site to park funding through the 2021 appropriations bill, there were ample opportunities in the past two years for members of Congress to support national parks. Despite this, 49 percent of Congress received a C, D or F rating in our scorecard. Thankfully, 51 percent of Congress received an A rating in our scorecard, indicating a steady base of support for our national parks.
