Protect Our National Park Service Staff

More than a thousand National Park Service staff have lost their jobs. And things will get worse for our parks if we don’t act now.

It takes thousands of people to protect our over 400 national park sites. Park staff work every day to maintain our nation’s most precious natural and historic places, educate visitors and keep them safe, and preserve what makes our country special.

These specialized, trained, dedicated professionals share with visitors the stories that have helped to define America. They clear trails, clean bathrooms, perform daring search and rescue operations, staff visitor centers, greet visitors at park gates, operate wastewater and drinking water park facilities and ensure our national parks are ready for all who visit them.

Put simply, parks wouldn’t be parks without the people of the National Park Service – and those people are under attack. Tell Congress to stand up for park staff and to roll back these devastating job cuts.
